Gotchi Galaxy on iPhone

Install on iPhone with SideStore

SideStore is a free app that installs apps like Gotchi Galaxy on your iPhone with your own Apple ID, no App Store needed. You do the setup once.

What you need

Steps

On your computer, open sidestore.io and follow its install guide for your computer and iPhone. This puts SideStore itself on your phone. Follow their steps as they show them: they know best.
Open SideStore on your iPhone and check that it is signed in with your Apple ID.
On your iPhone, tap this link to add our source: Add the Gotchi Galaxy source. SideStore opens and asks you to confirm.
If the link did nothing, add the source by hand: in SideStore, add a new source and paste this address: https://cuongpnh.github.io/gotchi-galaxy-releases/altstore.json
Find Gotchi Galaxy in the source and install it. Wait until it finishes.
If iOS says the developer is not trusted when you open the game: Settings, General, VPN & Device Management, tap your Apple ID, then Trust.
If iOS asks for Developer Mode: Settings, Privacy & Security, Developer Mode, switch it on, and let the iPhone restart.
Open Gotchi Galaxy and play.

Keeping it working

An app installed this way works for 7 days, then needs a refresh. SideStore refreshes it for you in the background, so open SideStore now and then and leave it installed.
When a new version comes out, the game says Update in SideStore in Settings. Tap it, and SideStore opens.

If something goes wrong

The game will not open, or closes at once: its 7 days ran out. Open SideStore, refresh Gotchi Galaxy, and try again.
"3 app limit" or "too many apps": a free Apple ID can keep only 3 apps installed this way. Remove one you do not use, then install again.
The source link did nothing: add the source by hand (step 4).
SideStore itself will not install or refresh: its own help pages at sidestore.io cover that.

Playing with friends needs this app version. The web version is solo play.
